Josh focuses his practice on the representation and counseling of emerging and established companies on a wide variety of intellectual property, corporate and transactional matters. He counsels clients on venture capital and angel financing, mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances and joint ventures, technology licensing, commercial agreements and general business matters.
Josh has been an Adjunct Professor of Law at University of Portland and Lewis and Clark Law School since 2008 and currently teaches a course called “Entrepreneurship and the Law.”
Prior to joining alto law group in early 2007, Josh practiced at Stoel Rives in Portland. Prior to attending law school, Josh was a pilot for United Airlines and is a retired U.S. Air Force pilot, having served 20 years on active duty and in the reserves.
